My old 486
My first pc was a very slow 486. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's the processor that came before the first Pentium.
My 486 had a 408MB (!) harddisk, and an 8MB memory. The monitor's highest possible resolution was 800x600.
Can you imagine I made the first site, of over 500 pages, on that thing, all hand-coded, no templates, no PHP, no Perl, not even search and replace, as I was using Notepad in Windows 95.
But to me, that was the best way to learn HTML :-)
